The summer transfer window has officially opened and while the main attention is on the World Cup, clubs are working away on major deals. For most clubs, planning will already be complete and they will have identified which players they want to sign, and which players they want to sell.

Barcelona are weighing up a move for Cristian Romero. The 28-year-old is currently at the World Cup with Argentina but it’s understood that he will look to leave Tottenham Hotspur this summer with Barca interested.

Juventus are interested in signing Folarin Balogun this summer. The 25-year-old has been linked with Chelsea, PSG and Tottenham but Juve are the club most likely to submit the bid. It’s understood that Monaco value the United States international at around €50m.

Arsenal are reportedly open to including Viktor Gyökeres in their offer to sign Julian Alvarez. The Argentina international is the Gunners’ priority attacking target this summer with Atletico Madrid valuing him in advance of €100m.
