In a memoir released Tuesday, Deryck Whibley, the lead singer of Sum 41, alleges that Greig Nori, the band’s former manager and the frontman of the band Treble Charger, coerced Whibley into a sexual relationship when Nori was in his 30s and Whibley was a teen.“For the longest time, I never thought I would ever speak about this stuff,” Whibley told the Star during a recent Zoom interview. “It was a deep, dark secret I was going to take to my grave.“But I didn’t know how to tell the story without it, because it was so intertwined with everything that was going on in my life back at that point, almost on a daily basis.”Nori did not respond to requests for comment by press time.
