Mumbai: Less than a month after NCP functionary Nawab Malik’s son-in-law Sameer Khan suffered serious injuries after his driver accidentally knocked him down outside Criticare Hospital, Kurla, he was stated to be in a ‘critical’ condition. Khan had been admitted to the hospital following the accident on September 18 and has been undergoing treatment for a brain clot and multiple fractures to the ribs, shoulder, and neck. “He is very critical,” said Dr Deepaka Namjoshi of Criticare Hospital, Kurla.On the fateful day, Khan had gone along with his wife, Nilofer, for a routine medical check-up at the hospital and was waiting for his car when the driver, Abdul Ansari, accidentally accelerated and knocked down Khan. A case of rash driving & negligence was filed against Ansari at Vinobha Bhave Nagar police station.
