British No 1 Katie Boulter rediscovered her form to make it through to the last 16 of the Ningbo Open after beating Italy’s Sara Errani in straight sets on Tuesday.Boulter’s form has tailed off since the grass-court season but she shrugged off seven double faults and a lengthy rain delay in a dominant victory over the veteran Italian.
In a match disrupted due to heavy rain, Boulter came out with the score level at 2-2 following a prolonged stoppage and proceeded to kick on and dominate, clinching the opening set 6-3.
