Radio 1’s Vick Hope on the books that made her who she is

Vick Hope is a radio and TV presenter, best known for the BBC Radio 1 drivetime show, Going Home with Vick, Katie and Jamie. Vick is also the author of several children’s books with ex-co-host Roman Kemp, as well as hosting the Women’s Prize Bookshelfie podcast, where she regularly interviews other inspirational women on their love of books. An avid reader, Vick is a judge for the 2024 Kindle Storyteller Award alongside fellow author and broadcaster, Sara Cox. The award celebrates the UK’s best self-published stories on Amazon’s Kindle Direct Publishing and the pair will be announcing the winner in November. What impact have books have had on you?
