A new ANZ-based games showcase has been announced to give us the winter vibes necessary to counteract the ‘Summer Game Fest,’ which most definitely doesn’t take place in Summer here in Australia.
‘Frosty Games Fest’ will focus on games made in Australia and New Zealand. The stream will be presented during June, the week of the Summer Game Fest.
On their webpage, the Frosty Games Team states that the purpose of creating this showcase is to “give a platform to ANZ-based developers during the key global gaming calendar moment of Summer Game Fest.”
Screen Australia is supporting this showcase via its ‘Games Event Fund,’ and Frosty Games Fest has also partnered with Rekt Productions.
Developers looking to get their game featured on the show in June 2024 can fill out an expression of interest form here.
Amy Potter, Lucy Mutimer, Pritika Sachdev, and Kieron Verbrugge are leading the Frosty Games Showcase. More news is to come in the new year.
