MADISON, Wis. — The University of Michigan women’s cross country team finished 31st at the Wisconsin Pre-Nationals on Saturday (Oct. 19).

BYU (105) finished first on the day, while Washington (157) took second. Northern Arizona (166) placed third, followed by West Virginia (207) in fourth and Notre Dame (216) in fifth.

Penelopea Gordon paced the Wolverines in the first race of the day, sitting in 99th place at the 2K mark. Mary Caroline Heinen was in 150th, with Samantha Hastie (152nd) and Rylee Tolson (154th) close behind.
