Two people killed in home after truck veers off highway in Victoria's south-west

Two people have been killed after a truck hit a house at Tower Hill, west of Warrnambool in western Victoria this morning.Emergency services were called to reports a truck veered from the road and crashed into the house on the Princes Highway just after 7am.Two people inside the house were killed when the truck crashed just after 7am (ABC News: Matt Neal)The two occupants inside the house, both yet-to-be-formally identified, died at the scene.The male driver and sole occupant of the truck was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives are en route to the scene and investigations remain ongoing. The accident occurred on a straight stretch of the road, police say.The Department of Transport has confirmed Commercial Road through Koroit is being used for diversions.Musician Richard Crawley, who lives at Tower Hill, said he had been trying to get home from Port Fairy when he was diverted by police.Emergency services at Tower…
