San Antonio addressed the biggest issue they have as a team during the offseason by bringing in veterans Chris Paul and Harrison Barnes. Things should improve a lot this time around, as long as CP3 is able to stay healthy and productive at the tender age of 39.
After exceeding expectations last year and making it all the way to the NBA Finals, the Mavericks also made moves in the offseason bringing in Klay Thompson. Entering his 14th season and playing on a new team should revitalize the career of Thompson who has often struggled for the Warriors after his injuries. Adding a prolific shooter like Thompson should help the Mavs tremendously on offense, taking some of the load off Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving.
