KINGS MOUNTAIN, N.C. (WBTV) – Authorities are looking for a vehicle linked to a deadly Kings Mountain armed robbery that happened during the morning of Wednesday, Oct. 30.At some point, the armed robbery turned into a shooting, killing an armored truck worker, who was later identified as Walter Henderson IV, 29, of Charlotte.Previous: Armored truck employee killed in robbery near Kings Mountain ATMOn Wednesday afternoon, police released photos of a car that witnesses and surveillance video caught fleeing the scene.That vehicle, a newer model black Jeep Compass Freedom Edition, reportedly arrived before the shooting and drove off after. The vehicle has a “distinctive star” on its hood, and police said a Black male was operating it.
