It will support businesses to boost their offer, build resilience and prepare for the increased connectivity and opportunities the investments will bring.The council is also appointing a dedicated town centre development manager who will work directly with businesses, encourage collaboration and support the continued development and vitality of Dudley town centre. This will provide a valuable resource for businesses as Dudley prepares to welcome Metro services.Councillor Simon Phipps, cabinet member for economy and infrastructure at Dudley Council, said: “The Metro and new Interchange represent a once in a generation opportunity for Dudley.
