The shop is currently having a Everything Must Go sale. The shop is shutting this month A Liverpool city centre store is preparing to close. Decor, found on the outside of St Johns Shopping Centre and directly opposite Flannels, is currently hosting a “Everything Must Go” sale. The venue has cut the prices in all of its items, with a shop worker confirming to the ECHO, the shop will shut at the end of this month. Inside there are kettles, rugs, suitcases, blenders, toasters, and slow cookers all with sale stickers slapped on them.On the back wall is a range of toys including Lego, racing cars, play dolls, track sets, mechanical dinosaurs and tractors which are all also marked down. The biggest savings however can be found as soon as you walk in with SOKANY kitchen appliances going for as little as £15.When the ECHO visited, it seemed as if customers had made the most of the sale already as the majority of shelves lay empty. The huge pile of marked down kitchen appliances at the front of the storeThe shop’s closure comes after the ECHO previously reported why signage, above the store, has been removed from the front of the Liverpool shopping centre. The sign outside St Johns Shopping Centre has been partially removed while the building undergoes updates as part of “planned improvements.”Photographs of the building show half the sign, which spells out “St Joh”, still attached to the front of the building, while the other half displays exposed brick where the rest of the letters and signage have been removed.A spokesperson for St Johns told the ECHO that external signage had been removed to “support essential maintenance and wider aesthetic upgrades”.Further updates at the shopping centre include the Roe Street staircase alongside the opening of the XF gym and a lighting upgrade at the two main entrances. The sign outside St Johns Shopping Centre has been partially removed (Image: Liverpool Echo)A statement from the shopping centre said: “We are currently delivering a series of planned improvements at St Johns to enhance the overall look, feel, and customer experience of the centre.“As part of this, some external signage has been removed to support essential maintenance and wider aesthetic upgrades.
