Sales of other neighborhood homes, square footage and any improvements were all factors that may have caused increases, according to the Lucas County auditor.
LUCAS COUNTY, Ohio — If you own property in Lucas County, you may have received a concerning letter from the auditor’s office following a recent assessment.
Many saw increases in the property value update notices sent by the Lucas County Auditor’s Office. Across the county, property values increased on average by 29.5%, according to Lucas County Auditor Katie Moline.
In comparison, the office’s triennial update in 2021 reported an average increase of only 16%, Moline said.
These increases are something Moline said are not only happening here but across the country.
