Jiri Lehecka won against Spaniard Pedro Martinez Portero 7-6 (4), 6-2 to move into the second round of the China Open at the Olympic Green Tennis Center in Beijing on Thursday.
Lehecka, ranked No 37, will face the winner of the match between Spanish qualifier Roberto Bautista Agut and French lucky loser Arthur Rinderknech next.
