Business Forum Explores Means of Enhancing Partnerships in Economic Sectors

29 Sep (ONA) — Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI) today organized
the Oman-Tanzania Business Forum. The event explored means of enhancing business
and economic partnerships between the Omani and Tanzanian private sectors,
especially in the fields of constructions, real estate, food security, mining,
energy, transport and logistic services.

Mohammed Al Yousef, Minister of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion
said that the forum is considered an opportunity to boost the historic
relations between the Sultanate of Oman and the United Republic of Tanzania.
Investments between the two countries increased by 13.5% during the last two
years, he added.
