The New York Mets are in the MLB playoffs. They punched their ticket with a wild 8-7 win over the Atlanta Braves in Game 1 of Monday’s doubleheader, and will play when the wild-card round begins on Tuesday.The two games were postponed last week because of Hurricane Helene, adding some chaos to the MLB playoff picture ahead of the start of the wild-card series on Tuesday.With the Mets winning Game 1 and securing their spot in the postseason, the Braves must win Game 2 to get in as well.
