David Andrews opens up about ‘super frustrating’ shoulder injury

The New England Patriots’ saw several players leave their 30-13 loss to the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday with injuries, including David Andrews. The starting center and long-time team captain exited the game after the first drive due to what was later announced as a shoulder injury.
Andrews’ status remains unclear as of Wednesday morning. However, he did share an update of sorts on the latest episode of his Quick Snap Podcast.
“First of all, it’s frustrating,” the 32-year-old told co-host and former teammate Brian Hoyer. “Being hurt is a very frustrating thing, especially when you want to be out there playing. As a player, sometimes you have to make decisions if you being out there is the best thing for the team, and if you can perform.”
