Sabrina Carpenter launched her first arena tour at Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio, with a sold-out concert on Monday, Sept. 23, 2024.The Short N’ Sweet Tour takes its name from the singer’s sixth studio album, which hit the streets in August, spending several weeks at No. 1 on Billboard’s album chart.It was Carpenter’s first chart-topping album, a breakthrough largely driven by the success of two singles released in advance of the album’s release, the triple-platinum “Espresso” and the double-platinum “Please Please Please,” which topped the Billboard Hot 100, another first for Carpenter.The tour launch featured all 12 songs from “Short N’ Sweet” and another 8 from “Emails I Can’t Send,” the 2022 release that spawned her first Top 40 entry on the Hot 100, “Feather.”She also covered ABBA’s “Mamma Mia.”Need a break?
