Four released on bail in Leicester murder investigation

Four people arrested as part of a murder investigation after a man was stabbed in Leicester have been released on bail.Leicestershire Police said a police car was flagged down in London Road, near Saxby Street, by a man who had “significant injuries” to his chest and stomach at about 22:45 BST on Wednesday.Paramedics were called and the man, in his 20s, was taken to hospital, where he died in the early hours of Thursday, the force added.On Friday, two men, both 52, and two women, both 43, were held on suspicion of assisting an offender and have now been released on bail. Six men, aged between 18 and 33, were also arrested on suspicion of murder and remain in custody.One of the men arrested on suspicion of murder was also detained on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of class B drugs.
