Police set up a crime scene following the Berryhill Fields sex attack.Staffordshire Police were alerted at 8.15pm on Thursday 2 July. It happened off the Dividy Road area of Berryhill Fields.It comes as The Discovery Academy had warned parents and pupils of a ‘heightened police presence’ in the area on Friday.A police spokesman said: “We are investigating following reports of a rape in Stoke-on-Trent. We were called to Berryhill Fields after a 17-year-old girl reported she had been raped by a man. Officers established a scene in the area and our enquiries are ongoing.”Police are appealing for witnesses.
