The last time Jamshedpur FC faced off against Mumbai City FC, they were battling for a playoffs spot in the last edition of Indian Super League (ISL) and had managed to earn a 1-1 draw after taking the lead at home. Jamshedpur though had to forfeit the game later on and Mumbai were awarded a 3-0 win by the AIFF disciplinary committee after the hosts finished the game with just six Indians on the field in place of seven.It was a big blow to the Men of Steel who were then on a brilliant streak after coach Khalid Jamil took charge midway into the season and looked to finish on a high.The verdict expectedly took the steam out of their campaign and they sadly finished second from the bottom of the table for the second consecutive season.However, Jamshedpur have made a dream start to the new season as they grabbed a comeback 2-1 win at FC Goa and will be looking to continue their winning run against defending champions Mumbai City at home on Saturday.While Jamshedpur’s performance at…
