Maresca hoping to keep winning streak going with more control, more rotation

Match number ten of the Enzo Maresca is upon us.
We’ve won six of the previous nine, including the last four, drawn one that we “should” have won, won one that we “should” have lost, lost one expectedly (against Manchester City) and lost one quite poorly (second leg against Servette). The schedule has not been the toughest, to be fair, but all-in-all there’ve been plenty of good things upon which we can build short-term momentum and long-term success.
Next up is our first official game in the “league phase” of the UEFA Conference League, with Maresca expected to rotate to the “B squad”, as we have for all midweek engagements thus far.
While the delineation between A-squad and B-squad may not stay this distinct for the whole season, right now it’s working quite well in every respect: sharing minutes, getting results, keeping players happy. Maresca’s hoping that continues in every respect as well.
