Matthew Perry’s mom gives interview on ‘Friends’ star’s death

Matthew Perry’s family is speaking out together about his death on TV for the first time − and his mom is detailing a heartfelt moment before her son passed away.The “Friends” actor’s mom Suzanne Morrison, who is married to “Dateline” correspondent Keith Morrison, is getting candid in a Today show interview with Savannah Guthrie, which airs Monday on the one-year anniversary of his death.”He came up to me and he said, ‘I love you so much, and I’m so happy to be with you now,” Suzanne Morrison recalled Perry saying to her.Perry, who was 54 at the time of his death, was found unresponsive and face-down in the “heated end” of his pool on Oct. 28, 2023.
