Police respond to reports of shots fired at Victorian property

Police are investigating reports of gunshots at a property east of Leongatha in Gippsland.Victoria Police say officers are at a property in Dumbalk North as part of an ongoing investigation.A spokesperson confirmed that police had received reports that shots have been fired.No police members have been injured.”Due to the dynamic nature of the incident, we will provide further information when we can,” a police spokesperson said.Dumbalk North has a population of 90.Resident Deidree Pocklington told the ABC the incident was unfolding down the road from her residence.She did not hear gunshots, but was alerted to the incident by police presence.”There is now a helicopter here,” Ms Pocklington said.”Close to 20 police cars are outside — a lot of them.”Loading
