Probable Formation: Roma vs Venezia

One of the biggest bright spots of Roma’s young season has been the emergence of Primavera graduate Nicoló Pisilli. Pisilli has earned starts under Daniele De Rossi and now Ivan Jurić. He and Manu Koné appear to be two building blocks for the long-term good of Roma’s midfield. However, the two have shared the pitch for just about 20 minutes this season, with one or the other earning the start.
That could change tomorrow at the Olimpico, as Ivan Juric indicated there’s a chance the two budding stars could get their first start together in a preview of what could become a regular sight in Rome.
“Pisilli and Koné really intrigue me, they want to grow and improve, I like them a lot. They have massive potential. Today I will decide whether to let them play together from the first minute or not.”
