The Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium is a world-class cricket ground located in Hyderabad, Telangana.
Established in 2003, the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium has a maximum capacity of around 40,000 and is the home ground of the Indian T20 League franchise Team Hyderabad.
Also known as the Uppal Stadium, the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium is owned and operated by Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA). 
The HCA previously staged its home matches at the Lal Bahadur Shastri Stadium in the Fateh Maidan Sports Complex in central Hyderabad.
Visaka Industries Limited won the open auction for the funding of the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium with a bid worth ₹65,00,00,000. It was named as Visakha International Cricket Stadium in 2004 after a sum of ₹43,00,00,000 was paid in advance.
