Two teens among four people killed in collision in western NSW

Four people have died and the Newell Highway is expected to be closed for some time after two vehicles collided in western New South Wales.Police say emergency services were called to the crash 30 kilometres south-west of Dubbo, at 9:20pm on Friday.Inspector Rob Bevern, from Orana Mid-Western Police District, confirmed that two men aged 18 and 19 had been killed in one of the vehicles.He said two people aged 57 in the other vehicle had also died.The male driver of one of the vehicles was taken to Dubbo Hospital with suspected leg injuries.’A terrible incident’Inspector Bevern said that police were “committed to reduce the road toll to zero”.”Any loss of life on the road is a terrible incident,” he said.A crime scene has been established and the Newell Highway will be closed to allow for ongoing police investigations.Live Traffic NSW has advised that the Tomingley Road and Mitchell Highway diversions are not suitable for B-Triple and AB Triple heavy vehicles; those vehicles will…
