The moment when a huge blaze broke out on a Cambridgeshire industrial site, close to the main London-Edinburgh train line, has been caught on camera. Fire crews were called to Biffa’s waste management transfer station in St Neots at 10:52 BST on Tuesday. More than 25 firefighters, including crews from Bedfordshire, were called to the scene, with video footage posted on social media showing a big plume of black smoke pouring into the air. Network Rail said the incident was “monitored closely, but there was no impact on the safe running of trains”. No-one was injured in the blaze.
