Uniform rules have been relaxed at a North Staffordshire school – ahead of an impending heatwave. The change means blazers and ties do not have to be worn at Biddulph High School on Tuesday 7 July.Pupils will be allowed to wear their PE kits from Wednesday 8 July. It comes as the latest North Staffordshire heatwave is expected to reach 31C by Friday 10 July.In a social media post to parents and pupils, Biddulph High School stated: “Due to the forecast warm weather for the remainder of the week, we have made some temporary adjustments to our uniform expectations to help keep students comfortable while maintaining a positive learning environment.
